Editorial policy

Sources you can follow

Every guide links its sources beside the claims they support and lists them at the end with the date each was last opened. Federal workplace rules come from the Department of Labor's fact sheets; state and city scheduling rules from the state labor department or the ordinance itself; money figures from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the IRS; care and school figures from childcare.gov or the provider's published page; sleep and fatigue figures from the CDC and NIOSH. A guide cites at least two independent sources and names the law, ordinance or state a figure belongs to.

What a guide is, and is not

Guides are practical material for coordinating work and the life around it: the rule's figure, the cost, and the message or entry the reader makes. They do not determine whether a rule covers a particular reader, and they are not legal, medical or financial advice for a specific situation; the agency page, the employer's policy or a qualified professional does that.

AI assistance and illustrations

AI tools assist with drafting and with illustrative media. Every guide is reviewed against its sources by a second, independent AI model before publication; the guides have not had a human specialist review. Images are editorial illustrations and do not document a real workplace, household or person.

Dates and corrections

Displayed publication dates follow an editorial dating convention and may predate this website's first release; a substantive revision receives its own modification date, shown on the guide. Report an error through the contact page with the guide's title, the passage and a source; corrections that change a figure, a source or a conclusion are made in the guide.

Advertising and privacy

insightiqo.com may be funded by clearly labelled display advertising. Advertisers and employers have no influence on which topics we cover, what a guide concludes or which sources it cites. The site has no accounts and no newsletter. The publisher's privacy statement describes the data practices that apply.
